SURRENDER TO GOD

During those times of greatest stress
When all of life seems such a mess

When we believe that by God we are forsaken
And our faith in the truth has become most shaken

Throughout those times when we want to give all up
When we think we are drinking from an empty cup

Those are the times we need most to go within and reflect
For those are the thoughts we need most to reject

Always see ourselves with our true power
We must not sit in fear and whimper and cower

The truth is not what we think we see
It is in fact what is, and will always be

For God’s power is our true light
This is the energy that shines most bright

We must take a moment to go deep within
And take the time to let our real lives begin

Know that God’s love for us never leaves
And we receive all God’s good when we believe

We should accept our abundance as God’s true being
And surrender to the believing and what we are seeing

We experience God’s love deep within our hearts and minds
And when we receive all the good given only happiness we’ll find

At all times hear the message of love that God is sending
And surrender to the power and presence of God within which is never ending
