WHAT THE SONG SILENT NIGHT MEANS TO ME

We have all heard the song Silent Night, for it is a Christmas standard
But for me this beautiful song has special meaning and I would like to share this with everyone

Silent night for me, means not just the silence of that certain night of the birth of a spirit, but the silence we benefit from when we go within to listen to our inner spirit

Holy night means we are always blessed because we are indwelled with the greatest of spirits which always shines through any darkness we may feel in our lives

All is calm. When we are calm we are in a state of tranquility which allows us to hear spirit and know the truth of who we really are

All is bright can only mean that there is always a light that shines within all of us. This light is the true power of God

Round yon Virgin Mother and Child to me not only refers to Mary and Jesus, but the mother of all things spiritual and all of nature. The child is all of us who are of that nature

Holy infant so tender and mild, I believe is that we are all a child of God and can know this by being loving and living in serenity

Sleep in heavenly peace is not only to slumber but to always live in the peace we know from within and bring that peace to others. As we know peace within, we will always live in true peace

Shepherds quake at the sight. We are all shepherds of our own divine spirit and when we direct our spirits to good the results are amazing and can make our lives tremble with the good that comes from knowing true spirit that is within each of us

Glories stream from heaven afar to me means that when we know God we know the brilliance of God’s light. That light flows through all that we are and know. When we are in God’s light we live in the bliss of all that is good and that creates a ripple that is felt far and away to the hearts of all people

Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia is that the divine spirit which is the power that we indwell within our souls says to us that as we truly know God we express our true love to God as the true source of all our power from within

Christ, the Savior is born. We are all indwelled with the Christ consciousness, and as such we are liberated from our human thoughts and emotions to know what our true nature as a child of God is

Son of God, love’s pure light, means to me that as Christ was the son of God, we are all a child of God, and as such we live in the love of God’s light which is our true power

Radiant beams from thy holy face, mean that there is always joyfulness when we live in the light of God. That this joyfulness is a blessing that is the true expression of God’s good

With the dawn redeeming grace, is that when we see the dawn or the true light in our lives we save ourselves from the darkness that is not our true spirit, and we are able to see the truth of God’s power, which is to see the beauty in all things

Jesus, Lord, at thy birth. As we all are indwelled with the Christ consciousness we have all the power that the spirit within gives to each of us. For as we know this true power within we celebrate our emergence as the divine beings we truly are

When I see this beautiful song in this way it opens for me the knowing of God’s truth. This is the truth which shines within and through all of us. All we need do is know it and it is so.
