Reverend, Dr. Pattie Weber
Dr. Pattie Weber is the Senior Minister at SCPL. She exemplifies a deep spiritual
quality, and great joy and enthusiasm with everyone who enters the doors at the Center. She is beloved for the deep
teachings and contagious joy in her Sunday talks that are inspirational and empowering, giving the fellowship tools
that keep the inspiration flowing during the week.
Dr. Pattie is also an accomplished musician. Her music is performed all over the country,
and her music book with many of her original songs, including her CD “Angel’s Voices,” can be found at Spiritual
Centers everywhere. Dr. Weber has served as the Musical Director of the Affiliated New Thought Network’s Yearly
Conferences, for the last four years.
Dr. Weber began her metaphysical studies in the 1980's studying Eschatology, the teachings
of William Walter. After two decades of performing as a professional singer and keyboard player, Pattie moved to El
Dorado County from Los Angeles, and began to dedicate her life to her Spiritual path. She continued her Spiritual
studies through Emerson Theological Institute, where she received her RScP Practitioner License, Ministerial
Credential, and Doctorate of Religious Studies in 2008. She was a co-founder of SCPL in 1999.
Dr. Pattie loves her ministry of music and word, feeling the blessings everyday that a
life dedicated to God brings.

Rev. Belinda Owens is the Staff Minister at SCPL. She loves to inspire and teach the
indwelling truth that transforms lives. Her diligent studies and thirst for knowledge lends to her intelligent and
thought provoking Sunday talks, balanced by her delightful sense of humor and her commitment to a deep devotional
and meditative practice, her Sunday talks have something for everyone.
Rev. Belinda’s spiritual search has been an ever constant in her life, as a young child pleading to be taken to
Sunday school at the local church. Interested in many spiritual paths and practices she spent several years
exploring energy work, aura healings, past life regressions and increasing intuitive awareness. Meditation has
always been a part of her personal spiritual practice, when she discovered the yogic path, she was led to head up
the Ananda Sangha Meditation group here at SCPL.
She has enthusiastically continued her Spiritual studies offered through Emerson Theological Institute, where she
received her RScP Practitioner License, then her Ministerial Credential, and Bachelor of Religious Studies in
2008.

Dr. Kim Clarity, one of the SCPL founding ministers resigned from our
beloved Center October 1, 2009. Dr. Kim is excited to follow her calling with the newly established Seeking
Clarity Seminars. Dr. Kim will always be loved and honored for her 10 years of dedicated service. Her
inspiring talks and years of leading the way with expansive vision took SCPL to where it is today. She is
dearly loved and appreciated by so many. She so often taught that "To teach is to demonstrate." As the Divine
idea called Seeking Clarity Seminars began to grow, Dr. Kim felt a "shift" in her life, knowing that she must
go where she was being led. We thank he for her commitment to the Center and all of the lives uplifted and
empowered in her presence. We know the ripple effect of her teachings are eternal.
Thank you Rev. Dr. Kim Clarity. We know the vision of Seeking Clarity
Seminars is moving out into the world to teach and uplift the planet one person at a time.
Reverend Russ Miller
The dear founding Father of our SCPL, Rev. Russ Miller made his transition to the next plane
of existence on August 18, 2009. At the request of his wife Ellen, SCPL did a short memorial as part of the Sunday
service on August 23.
The fellowship shared stories, love and memories of Rev. Russ. A "From The Heart" from 2007 was played for the
congregation and everyone enjoyed hearing his voice again, and listened to a recording of Rev. Russ singing "Shine
Through Me." There were many tears of joy.
Rev. Russ was 83 years old at his passing, and what an impact he had on this planet! Every great soul that has
walked through the doors of SCPL have felt the ripple effect of Rev. Russ's love. Russ was a dedicated meditator,
and was given his TM mantra 50 years ago at Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's University.
Reverend Russ Miller was an ordained New Thought minister, licensed by the Affiliated New Thought Network (ANTN).
He was a graduate of Emerson Theological Institute and had a degree in Religious Studies. Prior to taking up his
study of metaphysics, he was Vice President of Operations for Electra Records, part of the Warner Brothers family
where he served as Vice President and worked side by side with David Geffen. Working also in the capacity of Artist
Development Russ signed Eddie Rabbit, Judy Collins and many others into their recording contracts. Friends with Jim
Morrison and many great talents, Russ had an amazing musical journey. He was a recording artist as well, recording
his gospel album “Somebody Bigger Than You and I” in 1956. From 1976 to 1981, while on the editorial staff of the
National Geographic Society, he produced "The Great American Adventure Series" which was nominated for a Grammy
that year.
His intention as a minister was always “to serve all of life with wisdom, peace, joy and love.” He did that, and so
much more. We will miss you our friend Russ, and we know you are continuing to hold us in your heart, as we hold
yours in ours. We will meet you there someday, our dear Rev. Russ!
